I think not only shadow & light krub. He was very good at using "negative space" too krub. They are quite powerful (the 3rd picture of the top row on the first page is an example). Hmm, I see this one http://toichatpet.multiply.com/photos/album/236/Walking_My_Dogs is as good krub.
I was torn between that picture and this one to post here as illustration. You are right about the power of his pictures. I do love them so.P.S. I'm honored to be compared to him :).
